Co-worker Creates 3D Printed Fidget Spinner

Yesterday I challenged one of my co-workers to 3D print a fidget spinner. I told him that I believed it was impossible but nevertheless, OP delivered.

When given a challenge, he takes pride in trying to accomplish the goal.

He told me that he used a $400 Monoprice 3D Printer (Likely the Monoprice Maker Select Plus) and some old bearings he had laying around. The fidget spinner does not spin for very long but nevertheless, I am considering this challenge a success. The device is very sturdy and feels well made.

I talked with him to see into making an Ethereum logo-based fidget design that would use newer bearings for a longer spin. I will update on that project in a future post. For now, here is a short video of the fidget spinning:
